If so, we’re seeking exceptional sales leaders to join our client’s team as a Regional Director of Sales!

About the Company:

Our client is a fast-growing, innovative company that has earned its place as a leading OEM supplier in the long-haul trucking industry. Over the past 14 years, they’ve grown from a start-up to a market leader, thanks to their game-changing, patented technologies—all proudly manufactured in the USA. Their solutions are designed to significantly boost fuel efficiency for long-haul tractor-trailers by reducing aerodynamic drag.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Spearhead the sales of cutting-edge fuel-saving aerodynamic technologies to fleets and truck/trailer dealerships across a multi-state territory.
  • Client Engagement: Build relationships with fleet owners, maintenance executives, and sustainability officers to secure product commitments.
  • Dealer Training: Train and equip dealers to confidently represent and sell our client’s product lines to fleet customers.
  • Strategic Transition: Facilitate the shift from direct sales to dealer-based sales in major regions, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations and webinars tailored for fleet managers, dealer principals, parts managers and sales managers.
  • CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date client and prospect information using CRM tools.
  • Travel: Travel to customer facilities, dealer events, tradeshows, and conferences, with some weekend travel required.
  • Sales Support: Contribute to additional sales and marketing efforts as needed.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A strong track record of exceeding sales quotas in a multi-state territory.
  • Skilled in direct sales and pull-through dealer sales strategies.
  • Experience selling differentiated or disruptive products, with the ability to articulate value propositions using tools like ROI calculators.
  • Experience in transportation/trucking, fuel program sales, APU sales, new truck leasing, or driver/mpg-focused software is highly preferred.
  • Adept at addressing and overcoming customer objections.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical requirements for product installation and compatibility.
  • Capability to complete spec sheets for retrofit installations.
  • Proficient in delivering impactful product demonstrations and presentations, including via PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time and the ability to work remotely with discipline and organization.
  • Willingness to train, observe, and assist in the product installation process to understand customer utilization and potential obstacles.

Why Join Us?

This is your chance to be part of a company leading innovation in the long-haul trucking industry. If you’re passionate about transforming an industry, delivering value to customers, and thriving in a dynamic environment, this role is your next big opportunity.
