Regional Director of Sales

Their solutions are designed to significantly boost fuel efficiency for long-haul tractor-trailers by reducing aerodynamic drag.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Spearhead the sales of cutting-edge fuel-saving aerodynamic technologies to fleets and truck/trailer dealerships across a multi-state territory.
- Client Engagement: Build relationships with fleet owners, maintenance executives, and sustainability officers to secure product commitments.
- Dealer Training: Train and equip dealers to confidently represent and sell our client’s product lines to fleet customers.
- Strategic Transition: Facilitate the shift from direct sales to dealer-based sales in major regions, fostering strong partnerships.
- Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations and webinars tailored for fleet managers, dealer principals, parts managers and sales managers.
- CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date client and prospect information using CRM tools.
- Travel: Travel to customer facilities, dealer events, tradeshows, and conferences, with some weekend travel required.
- Sales Support: Contribute to additional sales and marketing efforts as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A strong track record of exceeding sales quotas in a multi-state territory.
- Skilled in direct sales and pull-through dealer sales strategies.
- Experience selling differentiated or disruptive products, with the ability to articulate value propositions using tools like ROI calculators.
- Experience in transportation/trucking, fuel program sales, APU sales, new truck leasing, or driver/mpg-focused software is highly preferred.
- Adept at addressing and overcoming customer objections.
- Basic understanding of mechanical requirements for product installation and compatibility.
- Capability to complete spec sheets for retrofit installations.
- Proficient in delivering impactful product demonstrations and presentations, including via PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time and the ability to work remotely with discipline and organization.
- Willingness to train, observe, and assist in the product installation process to understand customer utilization and potential obstacles.
